Board Member Recruitment
The Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres (CKCHC) is a community-based primary care organization. The vision of “the best possible health and wellbeing for those we serve” is an ongoing commitment.
CKCHC is seeking strategic, experienced, engaged and talented members of our community who understand the role of a board governor to join us in the pursuit of this vision by participating as a voluntary member on our Board of Directors.
As a minimum, board members should expect to devote approximately 10 to 15 hours per month of their time to our comprehensive primary care business, to attend regular board and committee meetings and adhere to our board responsibilities and policies.
This opportunity will appeal to leaders in the community with governance experience. Board recruitment is based on vacancies and the requirements identified by our Board Skills Matrix.
This year, we are specifically seeking those with experience in the following areas: Clinical Healthcare background, Health Care Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, Community Development, Partnerships & Integration, Fundraising and Cultural Competency.
