The Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres offer volunteer opportunities for anyone 14 years of age and over.
Job assignments vary from filing, typing, entering computer data, copying, mass mailing, assisting with the production of health-education materials and programs, conducting telephone or in-person client surveys. Special projects and analytical reports may also be assigned to those who demonstrate notable skills and experience, and to those who are ready and capable of taking on more challenging tasks.
Some basic requirements for volunteering include an interest in community health and the availability to work a minimum of two hours per week, adhering to work schedules, and completing assignments under supervision.
Volunteering can be an interesting and rewarding experience. Volunteers develop good work habits, gain valuable work and life experience, become better prepared for the future work place or may serve as a rewarding commitment during retirement. Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres are committed to providing the best possible health for those we serve. If you are interested in being a part of our team through volunteer work, please submit your application of interest.
