“The Chatham-Kent CHC has literally saved my life. I came to the Health Centre one day with chest pain. The quick thinking and skill of the staff saved my life. As it turns out, I was having a heart attack. After my heart attack, my Nurse Practitioner sat down with me and explained things and had a lengthy discussion about my treatment plan”

“At the Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres, I am able to receive help for my physical, mental and social needs. It is a place where I feel safe and respected. I know that if I express a concern or need, the staff will be able to connect me to the appropriate service. Being a client of the Chatham-Kent CHC means I am treated as a “whole” person. It is a wonderful asset to the Chatham-Kent Community”

“I have been fortunate enough to practice part-time at the Chatham Community Health Centre since graduating from the Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Western Ontario. The CHC is a great place to work, especially as a new graduate. The working environment is comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The CHC is unique in that there is opportunity to give more attention to their complex patient population. Many patients have mutliple issues and the CHC’s physicians have the time and resources available to provide these patients with the support and care that they need. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Chatham CHC and would recommend it as a great place to set up a practice to other family physicians”
